Hello, I am Ingrid Strazzabosco, herbal and Ayurvedic practitioner. I am so glad you have found your way here.

“Nurturing balance through nature’s wisdom.”

Where It Began

Plants have been with me since the beginning. My childhood was shaped by them—my father worked in the plant world, and I grew up close to living things, though I did not yet understand how deeply they would one day hold me.

The Body Remembers

Like many, I was raised within the system of Western medicine. What was given with care came with consequences my body would carry for years—through pharmaceuticals and interventions that, over time, weakened rather than restored. My parents acted with love, as we all do with the knowledge we have. Still, there were imprints I once believed would be permanent.

It was through the study of plants—medicinal herbs, flowers, and the quiet intelligence of the natural world—that something began to shift. Slowly, gently, my body remembered itself. Health returned not as force, but as balance. Not perfectly, not without moments of flare or fracture, but steadily—and without the cost of side effects I had come to know too well.

Devotion to the Plants

In 2017, I formally entered the study of herbalism, though in truth, I was simply returning. I worked intimately with plants—from seed to harvest—on organic land, preparing them as medicine with my own hands. This work became the foundation of how I live.

Motherhood as Medicine

Motherhood deepened everything. With the birth of my two children, my commitment became embodied. I chose to turn toward the plants in their care—again and again—trusting in their ability to support, nourish, and restore. What I experienced in my own body, I witnessed in theirs.

A Deeper Study — Ayurveda

In 2024, I felt the call to go further. I wanted to understand the body not in parts, but as a whole system—interwoven, intelligent, alive. This led me to Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine that understands each person as a unique constitution—a dynamic balance of energies within the body.

In Ayurveda, we work with the individual’s constitution—how they are naturally formed—and how it has shifted over time. Through food, herbs, daily rhythm, and ritual, we gently guide the body back into its own equilibrium.

Formal Herbalism Study

Deeply rooted in botanical medicine since 2017, focusing on organic cultivation and seed-to-harvest preparations.

Maternal & Pediatric Herbalism

Specialized focus on plant-based support for motherhood and children, witnessing medicine as a form of nurturing relationship.

Ayurvedic Constitutional Medicine

Comprehensive understanding of individual constitutions and the dynamic energetic balance of the body systems.

Rhythm, Ritual & Equilibrium

Guiding the body back into equilibrium through daily rhythms, whole food intelligence, and intentional herbal rituals.

The Woman I Became

For years, in my small circle, I have been the one people come to—the quiet “mountain medicine woman” of the Ozarks. Over time, others began to trust me. And, perhaps more importantly, I learned to trust myself.

How I Work

My work is shaped by the individual—no two paths are the same. I do not approach this as a transaction, but as a relationship of care and trust.

  • Free consultation calls with no time limit
  • Accessible sessions for those with limited resources
  • Healing begins in being witnessed and speaking the truth

This practice lives in my bones.

There is nothing I love more than guiding the body back into balance—gently, patiently—through the intelligence of plants.
